This Privacy Policy explains how Setra ("Setra," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with this website and our documentation (the "Site"). Setra is settlement infrastructure for tokenized equities. We do not operate a trading venue, we do not take custody of assets, and we do not hold user accounts.

1. What We Do Not Collect

We have deliberately kept this Site free of tracking. Specifically:

  • No cookies. The Site sets no cookies of its own and shows no cookie banner.
  • No analytics or tracking pixels, no advertising networks, no cross-site trackers.
  • No user accounts, no passwords, no profiles.
  • No collection of names, postal addresses, payment details, or government identifiers.
  • No attempt to link wallet addresses to real-world identities.

2. Information We Do Handle

  • Server logs: our hosting provider records standard technical data for every request — IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp — for security, abuse prevention, and reliability. We do not use these logs to build profiles.
  • Correspondence: if you contact us about an integration, we receive whatever you choose to send us (for example, your email address and the contents of your message).

3. On-Chain Data

Settlement on Setra takes place on a public blockchain. Transactions, balances, and settlement records on that chain are public, permanent, and outside our control. We do not publish them, we cannot alter or delete them, and we do not associate on-chain addresses with personal identity. Anything you broadcast to a public network should be treated as public information.

4. How We Use Information

  • To operate, secure, and maintain the Site;
  • To respond to integration questions and other correspondence;
  • To investigate abuse, fraud, or attacks against our infrastructure;
  • To comply with legal obligations that apply to us.

5. Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade information. We share only what is necessary with infrastructure providers that operate the Site on our behalf (hosting and content delivery), and where we are legally required to do so.

6. Retention

Server logs are retained by our hosting provider for a limited period and then discarded. Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up.

7. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the limited information we handle. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Protocol code, audits, and disclosure processes are published separately in our security materials.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold, or to object to certain processing. Because we hold very little — typically only server logs and any message you send us — these requests are usually straightforward. Contact us and we will respond as required by applicable law.

9. Third-Party Links

The Site links to third-party resources such as code repositories and block explorers. Those services have their own privacy practices, which we do not control. Review their policies before using them.

10. Children

The Site is intended for developers and institutional participants. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised version will be indicated by a new "Last updated" date, and continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

12. Contact

Questions about this Privacy Policy can be raised through the channels listed in the footer of this Site.
